When people hear you are taking Florida vacations they most often assume you are going to Disney World, but there are so many other thing to see and enjoy in Florida. You can get some great vacation packages while heading to any destination on your Florida vacations.

Cocoa Beach, home of the Kennedy Space Center, offers many attractions like the Cocoa Beach Pier and Adventure Kayak of Cocoa Beach. For a more cultural experience you can visit the Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science or Historic Cocoa village.

Panama City Beach offers Gulf World Marine Park where you can swim with the dolphins and have an overnight stay with the sea life or Ship Wreck Island, a great water park for the whole family. With access to the Gulf of Mexico and 27 miles of shoreline, it provides for ample sight seeing on many Florida vacations.

Moving a little inland to some other popular Florida vacations spot, there is Gainesville, with a half a dozen museums to learn about the local culture and history. Even away from the ocean, you can still enjoy the water at Santa Fe Canoe Outpost and enjoy floating down the river on a guided tour, over night trips are also available.

Miami offers many activities from wildlife reserves and gator farms to yacht charter tours and fishing boat excursions; there is something for everyone.
