North Carolina Vacation

North Carolina vacations are a must do for any NASCAR fan. From catching a race at Lowes Motor Speedway to visiting the race shops that are scattered from Charlotte on up to the Virginia border, you can spend a week there and still not see it all.

While planning your North Carolina vacations, keep in mind that it is more than just beaches and NASCAR. There are rolling Blue Ridge Mountains and the Black Mountains, which are part of the Appalachian Mountains.

Biltmore Estate, located in Ashville, is a fabulous sight seeing expedition while on your North Carolina vacations. The breath taking estate filled with much of the original furnishings was built in 1865. Biltmore houses a library with 10,000 books, a banquet hall with 70-foot ceilings, and room after room of fabulous 16th century tapestries. The sheer size is amazing and there are four acres of floor space, 250 rooms, 65 fireplaces, and an indoor pool and bowling alley.

If golf is your game of pleasure, you will definitely get your fill while on your North Carolina vacations. With a multitude of golf courses spread from the coastal area with a backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean, across the Piedmont, and into the mountains, there golf courses abound.
